After over 40 years diving here, Chico's dive
shop knows them all and we take you to the
best. We also know the bay's hidden and
unique underwater architecture of pinnacles and
caves at El Morro, Chimo and La Corbeteña; its
undersea mountains that breach the surface to
form the famous pacific pinnacles, and provide
the challenge and adventure sought by
experienced divers.

The biodiversity of the marine-life in Puerto
Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta is abundant and
schooling fish is found along the volcanic
formations in Los Arcos de Mismaloya,
Majahuitas, Marietas Islands, Chimo, Morro and
La Corbeteña.  

From December to March, the bay is host to
humpback whales. Whales sharks, sail fish and
wahoo are regular visitors during the summer
months; schools of dolphins seem to regard
Puerto Vallarta waters as their own personal
playground; and a mature pacific manta
population patrol the bay almost year-round.
